What's worth sending:
- A correction. Quote the sentence that's wrong and, if you have one, paste the source.
- A passage in a guide that lost you. Where the reading stopped is the useful part.
- A topic you went looking for and couldn't find a straight answer to anywhere.
What makes a correction easy to act on
Corrections are the most useful mail this site gets, and the quick ones share a shape: which page, which sentence as it reads now, and where the better figure comes from. Because every guide here cites its sources, a correction that names a primary source, a vendor's own specification page, a standards document or a manufacturer's support article can be checked against the same material the guide was built from, which turns a dispute into a five-minute fix.
Figures age faster than explanations do. Prices move, firmware behaviour moves, product availability and version numbers move, and a guide that was accurate the day it was written can drift without a word of it changing. If a number here looks stale against the vendor's page you're currently reading, it may well be, and we would rather hear about it than not.
What these guides do not cover
The guides explain how standards, formats and hardware categories work. They can't diagnose a particular unit, and "why won't this specific device connect" gets a faster answer from the manufacturer's own support channel, which can see the model, the firmware revision and the account state that a general explanation can't.
